Default Marquez has underated head movement and footwork

We all know the guy is a great boxer but I think yesterday highlighted that his footwork is quite subtle but it does the job as is his head movement. It gave pac fits, pac would be loading up for a combo and jmm would step to the side midway and counter. Pac had a hard time hitting the left hand as marquez would lean just out of range and then counter with his right. It was beautiful to watch regardless of the result.

Just something I never really appreciated until yesterday.

Yes, indeed! The photos provided by the link above proves that great footwork you harp upon... it is very impressive! Except for the Ghanaian, Clottey, I know of no one else in boxing to possess that skill.

Jaja and May: We Are NETWORK ENGINEERS: 17 counts of Marquez stepping on Pacquiao's foot

Mighty surprised not a lot of Saddos have picked up on this... this footwork does have a higher difficulty to execute and imagine the training involved to confidently and masterfully employ and utilize this as a weapon.

I guess being bitter is a whole lot better than being envious without any forseeable relief nor remedy. Helplessness is a burden!

Anyway, the observations were stated simply to express how impressive this skill set is and no doubt very difficult to perfect. A degree of certain wildness and mischief on JMM is needed to even consider this as such... IMO. Haha!

Manny Pacquiao has actually gone on camera in an interview, stating that he does not believe that Marquez was doing it deliberately. He expressed that his difficulties in the ring were undeniably because of the tremendous skill on display by a most worthy opponent, and not the by the alleged foot stomping! It remains tho' if and when he sees the frame by frame version, if he still maintains the same line of thinking, if so, then, he must be a saint!

On the side... ElTerrible, keep everything on an even keel or at least civilized, lest you endanger yourself being labeled names misrepresenting you.

When an orthodox fighter fights a southpaw, there will be somebody stepping on somebody's foot. Especially if they are both trying for that outside position. It is amazing to me that somebody actually took the time to think that means something more than the fact that their lead feet areright on top of each other.
