    Default Australian Open

So Andy Murray makes it through to the final 3-1 against Ferrer.

Best chance he has to capture a Gland Slam without having to beat either Nadal or Federrer. Anyone fancy his chances ??

All the Best for the final Andy

A years ago I bet Murray would win the Australian £50 now this happens.

I am responding to this thread because the spanner has messed my settings.

Why has no one commented on this, is there another thread about it?

    Murray could win this one.

I guess as typical British supporters we back him to the hill then he lets us down.

He has performed well so far in the tourny, dont know if having Lendl as his coach will help his mental state, but a semi against Novak aint easy, and as per usual, Andy performs really well against anyone outside the top4 in the world, but struggles against the top3. Really does go to show the gulf in class between the top3-4 and the rest of the world players.

Rafa through to final, this tourny and the US are Andy's best hopes of a Slam. I'll be rooting for him tomorrow, but can see him losing in straight sets, maybe get one set of Novak but no more. I hope im wrong.

Murray has a chance and I think he can win. Djokovic looked shattered last time out. Murray needs to make him run and run and Murray being fitter overall will snipe him.

In the final it is then more even. Murray can beat Nadal.

This could be the start of a grand year. Murray's real breakthrough and the decline of Federer.
