Good interview, he is a good guy. He was totally outclassed by Naz though but supported him against Davidson and that was a good victory. Beating Hodgkinson, was another excellent and under rated victory. Saw him training and working his boy's corner, like Eubanks he will teach his son well.

Loved Steve Robinson...a up to date Cinderella story
job biscuit (hope he got paid well and kept it)!!!
eh eh!!!
Yes always came across as a true pro and also a smashing guy,
good boxer.
Insulting to call this guy a world champion , an honest pro in a modern games of multi belts , Robinson was a good fighter at best , world champion never , good guy ? I dont really care.
Steve Robinson was all way's a honest good pro,and a good champion what point you may say a true
champion or not he did beat some good fighters.
He gave his best in and out of the ring, a true professional and worthy of being a Champion a good
guy and a lot better than some of the twats that been Champs.![]()
He beat an over rated Brit for the title when he wasnt even rated , Hodkinson had been koed in his last fight , McMillan had lost his last fight and hadnt fought since , McKenzie got his shot at the FW title by beating no other than John Davidson the over rated guy who the unranked Robinson had beaten , let us not forget he also beat Sean Murphy , another Brit ? is there a pattern here ? throw in a super bantam and two average fighters and it brings us to another BRit Naz , whos first fight at FW was for title , Warren promoted all these guys ? WBO ?
Simple fact is he wasnt even close to being the best of the bunch , never in a million years will he be remembered as a real champion . A wbo title holder means what ?
Considering Robinson came from a journeyman status to champion is a great story in anyone book. I hope his son does well too.

Steve Robinson is a fighter that deserves some respect a good honest pro, no nonsense type of fighter
did not go for all the hype. Never seen him bad mouth any of his opponents, just got on with the job
so all in all a good example of a pro boxer in side and outside the ring.
Some of the fighters about to day could learn a lot off Robinson, how to behave as quite a few act like
morons it goes to show a nice guy can be a winner, plenty of morons have been champions.
It all comes down to what you like I like Steve Robinson, he's a champion in my eyes.![]()
