    Default What would you do?

I was leaving the train station on my bike and some one said to me “oh that is my Bike”. I ignored him and he then said “You fu**in w**ker”

He was smaller and older than me, Drink in one hand, sitting down. He looked like a waster. There were a lot of people about.

I ignored him and went on my way but I was mad and felt I should have confronted him. When I calmed down I thought I did the best thing by ignoring him and make him look like a tit.

If I started trouble with him it could of got out of hand, it could have affected my job (cannot have a criminal record), and he could have targeted my bike.

What would have you honestly done in that situation?

I'll be honest, when I saw the thread title I immediately though....shoot the hostage.

Having read it you did right mate. If he starts up again tomorrow you're well within your rights to throw him under the next oncoming train. Fair warning has been given I say.

ignore him... but I know why you wanted to confront him its a man thing.

but little decisions like that can change your life and no matter how old or small he was you might have still ended up in a hospital bed tonight with a knife wound.

fight when you need to fight... don't when you do not, you did the right thing

I'd ignore and then spend a week being pissed at myself for not beating the shit out of him.

I'm for the most part non confrontational, and the reason usually is, i've got far more to lose by confronting someone, especially if it's a piece of shit like the one you describe. Always remember that you've got a family that depends on you as well, this asshole might be hiding a gun, you never know. Discretion is the better part of valor, if I confront someone it's only because I have no other choice.
