    Default George Kimball

Hi all, it's been a year since the passing of George Kimball, who is my favourite boxing writer of all time.

My mother died last year (coincidentally from the same disease that killed George, cancer of the oesophagus), and I basically didn't read any boxing for a while.

It wasn't until September that I found out he'd passed away, and the anniversary of his death is tomorrow. I wrote a little tribute to the man. I miss him in a funny kind of way. I loved his columns, and his books are absolutely fantastic, can heartily recommend them.

Anyway, I wrote this to commemorate the year since his passing...
