I personally think he will get back in the ring, I hope its a serious comeback if he does comeback, he doesnt need another brutal KO like last time, wasnt good to see at all. If he does comeback he needs a trainer who isnt a nutter either, and is there for ricky and only ricky. I didnt like the Mayweather-hatton relationship to be honest, didnt work at all.

if he does fight paulie again, would he win ?? i was pretty impressed with paulie last time out, the lay off and drug/alcohol abuse might actually of effected his performance, this is my only concern with the comeback and the world level. i think he could easily handle domestic and European level contenders

Yes it is to consider a comeback. just because you get fit does not mean you are able to get back into the ring. He needed to get fit and healthy otherwise he would have ended up looking like Bernard Manning. To decide to come back needs careful consideration and i do not think it will end well. Human nature is to try and do one better so there will be no happy ending to this.

If Hatton is coming back then I think a tune up bout is in order even before taking on Malinaggi, who is has remained active this entire time and is quite formidable despite his lack of punching power.

I agree with everything you had to say. I always enjoyed watching Hatten in the ring, he was fearless, focused, busy and went to the body like they all should. He only failed at the very top. I knew Mayweather Senior was a mistake, when things go bad around him, the blame always belongs to someone else. Only wish the the best for Hatten, hope he comes back with a couple good wins, gets the monkey off his back, and then retires to a long life.
