    Default Christmas Humbug

This year it was going to be different, we were going to our daughters for Christmas dinner, but
it's gone all to cock. My wife works night, she put in a request for Christmas eve off, but she has to
work Christmas eve and night and boxing night. What a shit holiday I'm off xmas and boxing day
my wifes in bed, after working 3 12 hour nights. I don't think she's had a xmas day off in over 8 years,
    Merry Christmas my arss.

I will be working over the Christmas and new year period just taking the statutory holidays which is a first for me as I normally take off 2 weeks to coincide with the school holidays.

Work is normally quieter in the office and they may let us go early on Christmas Eve.

Well, what really sucks is all things that will be missed this year. Our 17th year anniversary at the start of the month, her birthday just before Xmas, then Xmas and my youngest daughters birthday on Xmas.

    This month really sucks

I am on holiday over christmas, but I don't celebrate it anyway. It's for kids and people like me have no use for it. A day off is a day off. I don't believe in Jesus, I don't believe in Santa. Why would I care about Christmas? I don't.

It's just weird. My coworker who is an atheist is buying a tree and gifts for his girlfriend. I mean, why? You are an atheist. Christmas has no meaning!

Christmas is an illusion and does not exist.
