Judah?
Diaz?
Murray?
I'm thinking Murray although I'd like to see Zab ko Garcia and then go to the corner and clock his old man.
First time I have ever wanted Zab to win.

I agree with wanting to see Zab win but it's Zab in a big fight so he's guaranteed to find a way to lose. Quillin might lose. He seems to be eminently hittable. I'm still going to pick him to win though.
What no Arreola on here? I think Bermane has a good shot to shock the heavyweight division. That's a pick 'em fight for me, I know Bermane isn't the most skilled boxer, but he packs a big punch....should be a great fight too because neither guy knows the sweet science, they just know how to let their hands go.
Totally disagree.![]()
Not only do I think Stiverne doesn't beat Arreola... but I don't think it'll be considered an upset if he does. The HW division is crap other than the Klit brothers... and right now it's anybody's guess as to who comes out of that mess as the primary challenger to the Klits.
.......... but cute use of the kitty picture.![]()
It should be considered an upset given that Stiverne hasn't fought much top quality opposition and other than losing to Vitali and Adamek Arreola has been pretty good albeit a little flabby.
The HW division isn't "crap" it is simply competitive at a lower standard than it should be. There ARE interesting heavyweight fights out there to be made and Arreola-Stiverne is a good one!
Polite way of saying it's crap.
Yes... but it's taking way too long. Between the inactivity of some of the top contenders (from the crap heap), to the exasperating injuries and illnesses being suffered by some, to guys like Wilder who have yet to fight legit opponents...... the whole thing is being played out in super slo-mo.
Is Stiverne a big underdog this weekend? I would have guessed the odds were close. I wouldn't call Stiverne beating Arreola an upset.
In terms of most likely to produce an upset, Murray might be the best pick. Did Martinez heal properly? Will his age catch up to him finally? Did the last round of that fight take a lot out of him at his age? If the answers to those questions are no, then Martinez should dominate, but there's a chance that isn't the answer.
There are a lot of fights on this week, did not realise until this thread. We will not get to see half of them.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
William Hill has Stiverne priced as a +350 underdog
He looks pretty sturdy to me. Demetrice King KO'd him, but that's not all that much to worry about IMO, he wasn't down he just didn't return fire, and that was way back in 2007. I think Stiverne is good enough to test Arreola's chin as well, as he put King on his ass before getting stopped later in the fight.
The fight should be a slugfest while it lasts as neither man really hits and moves, they just go to war.
