Default Clottey vs. Mundine - SPOILER

    Clottey retired Mundine?!

Allegedly, he beat him around the ring, dropped him multiple times, and just of savagely broke him down.

I gotta admit...I did not see this coming. Figured Clottey would just cover up like usual and lose on points.

    Anybody got a link?

    Me too lol

Sounds like big mouth bit off more than he could chew picking on welterweights that were relevant 4 years ago.

    Serves him right.

I just watched it but afraid it's been taken down since, it was a complete beat down. In fairness Mundine wasn't trying to cherry pick in this one, unless his camp is full of absolute morons. Ageing fighters that decide to move down in weight almost always get beat up and this is a good example of that. Clottey probably has better hands than any of the bigger guys Mundine ever fought, he was doubling and tripling up on hooks in some spots and really couldn't miss Mundine, who was just a big slow target in there. You could tell Clottey never had any respect for the punches coming at him, hell this fight made him look like a dynamic offensive fighter

Great to hear that prick took a beating.

Clottey is a cagey, rough motherfucker who you can't sleep on. I'd say a lot of people underestimated him because their last memory of him was his shit performance vs Pac.

No doubt, Clottey really did look as good as ever, and is such a hard mofo. Thing is Mundine had nothing for him and Clottey was able to hurt him whenever he connected, it's when Clottey is actually in a proper fight that he seems to accept defeat, very frustrating to watch that. Still, the guy would be a great opponent for say Kirkland or Keith Thurman, if he does get a good payday off of this.

Did not give Clottey any respect and paid the price.

    Only one word, idiocy!

The guy's been in with Pac and Cotto and still treated too lightly!

Hopefully that's the last we will ever hear from Mundine. The most hated boxer in Australian history!

Spot on. Aging fighters moving down have nothing going for them. They don't have the quickness and losing weight usually saps their strength and punch resistance.
