    Default Happy heavy

Its great that haye is going to fight again, i love heavyweight boxing and even though it isnt exciting these days as the days of ali... I still like to see big fights even the klitschos. I know wlad fights bums but as a boxing fan and a purist he does impress me. The sweet science hit an dont get hit. Anyway... Good that haye has decided to box again. I think it will be charr.

There is life outside the heavyweight division.

I know its just the original glamour division, looking forward to garcia vs jadah and harrison vs walsh. I predict a harrison knockout.

They ain't "bums." It's a world-sport, and there's over a thousand licensed Heavyweight boxers, and the prize at the top is a 20 million payday or more for a single fight. And the pro talent pool draws from an even larger international amateur talent pool. That ensures that a Top 10 man isn't a bum.
Call them 2nd tier, or 3rd tier fighters, with the Top 3 being 1st tier, but don't call world-class Top 10 fighters, "bums."

    For $#!t's sake...

It goes in cycles, peaks-and-valleys. Cultural differences too, as across the ocean, it must be seen as in a peak right now as Wladimir draws 50 thousand fans to a German stadium every time he boxes, and set a record for most viewers on television.

(About 5 years ago, across all weight classes, I think there were around 56 thousand amateur boxers and 8 thousand pros.)

I always wondered if you take the Klits out of this era its actually a very competetive division and if you have guys like Haye beating everyone like Adamek, Arreola and so on would people say he is one of the greatest ever.

And to say they fight bums is BS because they fight absolutely everyone and anyone. I believe they are true greats. I dont enjoy their fights but I have them both in my top 10 heavyweights of all time.

I appologise i actually do. They fight a lower class than which they are.. Is that better? And like i said im actually a closet fan i like the way they carry themselves as people and o enjoy watching the events when they fight. But excitement is what i really enjoy thus why i look forward to haye. I would never have them in my top ten..

They're not exciting, and Haye does bring excitement.

The new young exciting Heavyweight that hypnotizes the masses hasn't appeared yet. They're rare, one comes around only every 20 years or so; Boxing's overdue.

Haye brings excitement? Are you kidding me?

He stunk the place out against Valuev, participated in one of the worst "fights" I've ever seen against Harrison and then ran from Wlad like a coward.

He's got a big mouth, but at heavyweight at least, he's anything but exciting. I am hoping and praying that someone knocks his head off if he does fight again.

He looked his old self in the chisora fight, the monte barret fight was good ups and downs barret falling on his face.. And he smashed ruiz. He fought the right fight against valuev. Hes the most exciting heavy why argue cause harrison did his negative usual and he had a bad day with wlad
