He's had a rep for being a bad trainer since day one. They even blamed the close Carson Jones decision on poor fitness. Now he's injured all the time.
There was zero interest in the fight anyway. It went from a main event, that couldn't give tickets away, to an undercard fight.

If that is true then he is throwing his career away. He is a very naturally talented fighter but I am worried they kept him fighting at a lower level for so long. He didn't need his chest puffing out much more after he beat McIntyre in a round. He could have stepped it up to Euro level years ago instead of all the gimme's he's had.
