Nope, Tyson inside 3.
Remember holyfield had only 7 HW fights come 91 because he was mainly cruiser before that, as opposed to the 17/18 HW fights he had when he actually fought Tyson in 96, 3 of which he had lost.
Compared to Tysons 40 heavyweight fights in 91, only 1 of which he lost.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.

Razor Ruddock was one dimensional and only had "The Smash". He could of been a good boxer and showed signs of his skill's early in his career but turned into a one dimensional power puncher.
Holyfield survived bombs off big punchers like Bowe, Foreman, i think its silly for people to say Tyson within 3.
Yes Holyfield was rocked and had been hurt, but the problem is actually stopping the guy. Im not sure how the fight would of gone but Holyfield would always give Tyson fits.

Tyson would have won in an epic fight but could see holy field win the return as Tyson was slowly burning out.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
It is a shame Tyson had to pull out of the second fight but I'd always pick Holyfield then. Regardless of weight Holyfield was always dogged with being "a blown up cruiser" while he and Tyson basically weighed the same? Combination punching, handspeed and a mentality and will that I think would have carried Holyfield to a win be it in 90, 91, 96 or 97.

I think that bit is key. Styles make fights Holyfield young or old would always present a problem to Tyson because of his style.
Im a big Tyson fan but realise Evander knows all the tricks that work against Tyson. They say never hook with a hooker and thats the mistake tyson made in exchanges, evanders chin was more protected and his longer arms gave him advantage, not to mention he knew how to use his head and rough Tyson up.
They had that infamous sparring session as ametuers where they had to be separated because "it got too furious" which tells me evander would never be intimidated by tysons power like everyone else and would always take it to him
Holfield had been wobbled when he moved up in weight Alex Stewart, Cooper and Bowe which is why he was vulnerable until be put on the bulk weight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
