Thought his last fight was meant to be the gimmie? It's like he and Quigg swapped careers.
I suppose if the Belfast fans are gonna fill the seats you might as well make the most of it.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I presume if he wins this he gets Romero/Kiko winner. Hes fighting a chap who beat that bum Quigg just Kod so Im ok with the fight.
Blimey, that makes it look even worse. That "bum" Quigg bashed-up in a few rounds lost on PTS in Parodi's backyard, with two of the scorecards reading 115-113.
It's not Frampton's fault he's popular enough in Belfast to headline against weak opponents, but lets get this right, Quigg's fight was an undercard bout and never sold as anything more.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Frampton will be top 10 p4p. I keep saying it!
Quigg is good but Frampton is just better.
Frampton will cake walk to a world title.
Quigg was called out live by Frampton then 5 seconds later, LIVE, declined it.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
Quigg is better than Frampton. He has never overestimated his own ability the way Carl does.
It's hard to know who's better between the two. What edges Frampton for me is that he clearly wants the Quigg fight where Quigg has no interest in fighting Frampton.
His team can give all the bullshit excuses they want but the only reason thy are not takin it is because they are not as confident in winning as Carl's team are
What a load of Blarney. Walking away from matchroom hardly reeks of ambition. If it was up to him Quigg would fight Frampton after spilling his own Guinness.
Yea but his team mustn't have fate in him. It would be a much much bigger payday then any of his fights so far and would almost certainly put him in a guaranteed world title fight.
There is plenty I've seen in Rigo to think he is beatable and there's no reason Quigg or Frampton couldn't do this. Don't get me wrong Rigo is a huge fav but his chin looks dodgy. He is also getting on and every chance his speed and reflexes are in decline. My feeling is Quigg will not fight him. Frampton might fight him next year but unlikely too
I'm not so sure. Quigg's team has just changed but they both have the potential to win world titles, you are right in that. I think both promotional teams realise that Frampton/ Quigg sells but that it won't be harmed by either losing in a world title bid. Whoever gets the chance first I wish them well. Frampton has more chance against Rigo because of his power but anyone else and I think Quiggs boxing ability edges it.
Quigg is fighting for the "world" title (WBA) on the Haye-Fury bill.
Frampton was all the rage, fell out with Matchroom (well Barry McGuigan not Carl), swapped to the other mob, Matchroom signed Quigg and delivered a "world" title shot whilst Carl, who looked in a stronger position, is defending his Euro belt against a no-mark. Good move.
(This fight is dead for the time being anyway, Quigg can't fight on BoxNation and Frampton can't fight on SKY)

I disagree, Rigo is good but I think Carl could do him a job. Remember that Carl is very compact and hard to hit, his power added to that makes him very dangerous.
my spidey senses tell me Rigo would want nothing of Carl Frampton. It would also be a step back for an exciting fighter like carl to fight someone who has talent but is almost untelevisably boring. (I just coined untelevisably)
