    Default Diaz vs Bisping

Nick Diaz vs. Michael Bisping? 'I love that fight,' UFC boss says | News – MMAjunkie.com

This fight is pretty interesting. Diaz's kryptonite has always been a week td defense and Bisping's wrestling looked much improved, particularly against Sonnen. Bisping can be a little chinny but Nick is much more of a quantity vs quality puncher. He wins through overwhelming guys with combos. Bisping's stand up is good but not great. I don't think his size gives Nick problems standing. I think Mike can win this through wrestling but it might go south if he tries to out slick or bang w/Nick. If it is a 5 rounder Nick might be able to push a pace that has Bisping tiring late. Regardless the pre-fight trash talking would be epic. Thoughts?

I'd have to support Bisping in this one. He's the bigger and better man in and outside the cage.

Diaz is a piece of trash. I doubt he could befuddle a big 185 lber like Bisping, who has been in there with all of the best excluding Anderson.

I don't think Bisping is real big MW (Okami and Henderson are big MWs) and in fairness he has lost to most of the top MWs. He should win this but I think it will be a competitive fight.

Nick fought both Frank Shamrock and Scott Smith at MW and won both decisively. I don't think Bisping's size is an issue.

They're both crap compared to Bisping, and I don't like Bisping.

He lost to Chael by a cunt hair and has very good stand up himself.

What do you think Chael would do to Diaz?

Frank Shamrock was one of the most talented MMA fighters ever. Bisping isn't nor has he ever been on the same level. Chael is a big MW and has a great wrestling game but he also is suspect in the submission game. If forced to put money on it at 185 I'd wager that Chael could grind out a decision against Nick but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Nick tapped him out.

Lol I know who Frank Shamrock is, I've been watching since UFC 1.

However, he was old, shot and did not even try to win against Nick Diaz.

For goodness sakes he won the strike force title by beating Phil Baroni.

Love Baroni but he's far from world class.

I'll give you old but not shot. He was giving Cung Le a great fight before he got his arm broke. That fight was 1 year before he fought Nick. Smith isn't anything special but going on pure name value I'd say Smith's wins over Kennedy and Le are bigger than any names on Mike's win column. Anyway my point is that Nick cuts a lot of weight for WW and is completely comfortable at MW. Bisping should beat him w/wrestling but it won't have anything to do with a large size disparity.

Your probably right. I just like to argue lol

I do maintain Bisping is worlds better than Smith tho.
