I think if wilder with his style could be a future ppv draw

Arreola on all access would be great him and fury talk trash and have Mexican and Irish Fans behind them.

Stiverne winning would send Canada into a frenzy

    Adamek has a big following

Perez has the style that people would love and a unique back story

Haye could be a star but he's to flaky

Unless Jennings and Wilder are "the real deals" and can develop a huge rivalry while stepping up their levels of competition then I think the status quo for boxing will be that more and more big heavyweight fights are going to be on regular HBO/Showtime/Epix/ESPN/NBCSN just to get American people back to watching heavyweight boxing.

This is not to say The Klitschko's aren't absolute superstars, they are...just not in the US. Lennox Lewis wasn't huge in the US either. He probably did better as English was his first language and he would typically fight in the US but even then he didn't have the following of Tyson, Foreman, Holyfield, Bowe. American fans are used to certain styles, certain personas, and this more cerebral style of fighting doesn't appeal to them as much.

We can ponder about "What if The Klitschko's were Americans?" and how that would play, but the issue with that is that they would have completely different personalities and would be more appreciated just for the simple fact that they were Americans. The media wouldn't treat them like strangers and "accidentally" get them confused with each other all the time.

PPV will come back to the heavyweight division in America when America produces better quality heavyweights. When will that happen? Well that is going to depend on our amateur system and getting guys to get started in boxing earlier than their 20's. I think boxing needs to be marketed as a martial art and not some sport that mindless ex-cons participate in. Discipline and hard work should be touted as well as boxing being the great equalizer when it comes to bullies/bullying.

PPV will come back to the heavyweight division, but right before it does we're going to get treated to some very good fights on regular networks and as fans we should be taking full advantage of that.

It takes a lot more than being good and winning to captivate the public, and the only guy I see who has a chance at doing that is Deontay Wilder.

We know he has the tools. We know he has the power and athleticism. Now we just have to see how he'll do against a live opponent.

whoever wins the vacant title should fight Wlad and there be one champ, the buzz of having an UNDISPUTED HW Champion once again would be enough for it to go on PPV

If one American star emerges heavyweight boxing won't suddenly become PPV again, it needs a strong all round division with lots of marketable stars with a big following. I think thats a long way off, is there any future American stars in the amateurs?

If Wilder is the real deal, meaning he has a chin and a gas tank, he will be a big draw.
US boxing fans are ready, willing, able and salivating to support a winning heavyweight.
    PPV? Hell yeah!

American heavyweights won't make a comeback in this age of giants. If you're big enough and athletic enough you're funneled into basketball/football. Very few excel getting into boxing late. I'd imagine it's even harder the bigger you are because bigger people are generally less coordinated.

I didn't Just say American I mean Tyson fury if some how he becomes a better fighter and wins a belt.

He could be a star in the states and the UK. People love trash talkers plus the United States has alot of Irish including me I am half Irish. I know when we see a tough Irish guy fighting we root for him. Tyson has that crazy personality that with a belt attached could sell tickets.

And no plz don't unite the belt with wlad clinchko. Lets get a fresh knew face with the belt.

Who was the last scheduled (active) heavyweight headlining a massive pay per view show?

    Thats right Tyson Fury!

If it hadnt been for Haye he would have been a pay per view headliner.

He is the only heavyweight out there that can draw a crowd and get peoples attention.

He single handidly sold 20,000 tickets for the Haye fight. Hayes fight with Char got cancelled because it wasnt selling.

20K tickets .....ooooh wow that's amazing. That's a third of the tickets Wlad sells regardless of opponent.

Also Tyson Fury is a dope

which is the most amazing thing for me, totally astonishingly amazing

they really must only care about winning with any means in that germany and the surrounding areas

its like jonny nelson drawing huge crowds in england, it would never have happened coz his fights were utter dog shit

quite a lot better than wlads too as the proper rules applied
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
