    Default Froch -

Carl doesn't have the love of Hatton, Bruno etc - even Calzaghe - and he does my f**king head in in interviews and most of the time when he talks BUT:

Wow - great fighter - great resume - unbelievable chin and he does what other fighters such as Calzaghe simply would not do -

Goes to hometowns of others to get the world title, defends it abroad - always takes his mandatory (I thought he might refuse this one but nope!) and has given groves a re match - again something although he would of got alot of stick for - he did not have to do.

I will defo be at wembly - cannot wait! And don't know yet who i'll be cheering for!

No he didn't. He was pussying out and refusing to fight groves again, I believe he said "get to the back of the line now".

    The rematch was ordered.

I do not for a second believe Froch was a bottler man.

But he said that like Froch willingly gave Groves the rematch, which simply isn't true.

Froch turned into a primadonna after that fight and spit the dummy out because of the publics view on the fight.

Case and point/ fact - Froch was in no way, shape or form going to give Groves a rematch willingly.

I used to hate him but he has won me over as a viewer. I think he's a bit of a crybaby but thats not really relevant. He brings it every time and will fight anyone.

Having said that, his diehard fans and him have to let go of the ghost of Joe Calzaghe. Its going to take a pretty special fighter off the island to even meet what he accomplished let alone surpass it.
You have to quit playing the same two cards when you feel the need to take a dig at him. Its always he should have traveled but never the whom he should have traveled for or he ducked some phantom guy that can never be named. Joe is an all time great. Carl isn't but he's still a great fighter

Froch is a bad, bad man with mettle for days. He could have vacated the title and came to the US to face Chavez Junior. Instead, he is righting a wrong with facing Groves. Even though he is a cocky bastard, it's hard not give him credit.

Top 5 reasons why Froch is rematching Groves

    1. Money
    2. Money
    3. Money
    4. Money
    5. Money

The IBF ordering it is something that George Groves will say because it implies Froch is being forced into doing something he doesnt want to do.

Righting wrongs is something that Carl Froch will say so it doesnt sound like it all about money.

Guess Froch is delighted that he's been ordered to fight the guy he will get the most money from.

How could he arrange a fight with Chavez when Chavez was already fighting Vera? What if Chavez had lost to Vera? They only fought on Saturday. if Froch was gonna fight Chavez it Wouldn't have been till September. It suited Froch and Chavez both to shout their mouths off about a fight and Chavez is talking about Froch now.
In reality it wasn't an option, and what other option did Froch have ? Zero!
Froch is Brave , he's game, he's got heart and he's got a great chin, but he's not a great boxer and Groves showed that in the 1st fight.

Froch is not young anymore. He's coming to the end of a great career. So he gets a pass by me. He has fought everyone who matters. He fought in the super six when guys like Bute and other didn't want to take part. So when people start coming down on Carl let's keep that in mind.

Not sure what that would have accomplished my friend. Perhaps Chavez could have gone to Nottingham.
Fighting Groves actually proves something and he probably nets a lot more coin. Chavez is not even relevant in the division. If anything the Vera fights even make him less relevant. Besides, Ward needs somebody to fight.

Froch is no spring chicken he fights with his face a bit, and he did take a bit of a panning off
Groves, he may have taken George lightly and he just may be up for the fight.
This is a good fight for us fans, Carl will be talking crap and George will get under Carls skin
    again pure theatre,! can't wait.

Give Froch credit, he fights all and avoided no one. He is fighting Groves, who gives a flying monkey if he was willing or not, he is doing it. Respect.

Whether or not Froch willingly accepted the rematch isnt relevant because nobody cam force him to do anything.

As my boy Rant mentioned, he could have easily vacated that title and cake to america for chavez.. at this point of his career, title belt dont define him cuz he can fight whoevers and sell regardless..

    Froch deserves credit ..
