I actually had a chance to watch the fight, but switched the channel. No one expected it to be a barn burner... NO ONE.
I had to hear about the "War" the day afterwards, by accident, on this very same page. lolololol.....
I wasn't expecting fireworks at all. Sorta like when a home crowd leaves a basketball game early with their team down by 8 points with about a minute left in the game... next thing you know, some dude off the bench hits a three, gets a steal, gets fouled on another three point shot he made, hits one free-throw and then intentionally misses the second, gets his own rebound and scores another two points (now up 1 point) ... and then dashes back down on defense with under 20 seconds to go in the game and then makes a tremendous block/steal on a driving opponent and then holds the ball until the clock runs out.
But, idiot you, who had a chance to see it all, left the game early because you felt your team couldn't do it- let alone some dude, who barely plays at all, was able to do it for you with only one minute to do it in.
LOLOL....
That taught me that in boxing, expect the unexpected. Gatti/Ward did... no matter how boring you feel the match up would be, if you are a REAL FAN, stay tuned and see it unwrap itself. You just never know!!
