Default Amir Khan should've and needed a KO

He had Collazo struggling and even though Luis is as tough as nails, he could've gotten him outta there.

Collazo is a durable guy, having been knocked out only once early in his career.

Khan fought very well tonight. Some idiots even picked collazo to beat him so he actually exceeded expectations.

Shutouts can be more impressive than a KO and khan shut him down.

Yeah. He dominated him but I also think he got away from his jab-right hand which I think could've eventually ended it via stoppage. Khan is a very good fighter imop and he seems to be getting better.

A KO didn't matter. He showed that he is still a solid contender.

Many boxers are successful without being KO artists.

It was no secret anyway that Khan has "can't crack an egg" type power.

He's good to make do without it.

Khan may not have the punch power at welterweight at the top level but he does have the speed and height to cause the best fighters trouble.

Kahn impressed me tonight with his focus. Collazo is though, slick and cagey but just couldn't keep on track with Khan and kind of went to pieces.
Khan is pretty good at keeping southpaws boxed in.

I felt sorry for Collazo who was getting hugged and was constantly being leaned on. At the same time though, I don't think he fought an effective fight. He was constantly keeping his hands by his side and seemed to be relying on the one big shot. It could be argued that Khan is getting smarter, but John Ruiz doesn't get credit for it, so I don't see why Khan should. A bad chin is no excuse for cheating.

Funnily enough, I think still Amir Khan could outpoint Mayweather, but would get flattened by Maidana.

That is just a bit sad Miles. Give the guy a bit of credit that was at times an almost masterful performance by Khan and you feel sorry for Collazo. Straight up hate mate. From your neck of the woods too and yet you dangle off egg head Bradleys nuts ? Sad.

Maidana has been beaten by Khan already, he would lose again. Floyd would beat khan eventually.

Well stated. Never been a fan of the guy. Appreciate his gifts but not his attitude or ability to crumble. He looked great last night. Held it together and boxed beautifully. Even his clinches were perfectly executed when he felt the need to tie up.

Khan did a LOT of clinching.

I thought you hated running pot-shotters.....hmmmm....

Khan got walked down and clocked for most of the fight.
Don't forget all those shots he took.

Khan...Vlad...and Carlos Molina ....are like boxing's answer to Velcro.

You can add Hopkins to that list as well

Well, be prepared for a shock! I can't stand Khan, think his speed is an overrated weapon at the highest level, but..... I thought he boxed a fantastic fight, very skilful. I still think he'd get found out by the elite fighters at WW, but he's been out of the ring for a year and it is his 1st fight in the division so although he doesn't have the KO power, all things considered , he did great. Let's not get carried away though, he still doesn't deserve Mayweather, but if his next fight is against one of the top, top guys and he wins, good luck to him..
