Farcebook has lost 80 billion in market cap since this data for cash thing came out. The Zuck is being called before congress to testify. So when congress and Zuck sit together we will have the two biggest bodies of surveillance in the world in one spot. I never got the attraction of Facebook. I also can't beleive anyone didn't think they were data mining. The obama administration knew, they took advantage of it. I deleted my Facebook account two years ago after setting it up a year before and never look at it. They still have billions of users although I read 50 million have deleted accounts. I still think Facebook stock will be a buy after it gets battered a little more. It was down 10 percent recently but was in the green today

They won't be alone......word on da skreet is that Goolag (Google) unt Amazon are also selling/misusing customer/consumer data. This doesn't surprise me all that much but it'll hurt some folks who have invested in those companies IF they decide to sell their stock of course.

It's very funny and very telling that data mining with the end goal of helping Obama become President was championed and praised, oooooh what brilliance was on display and 1 company, 1 gets a little info to Trump and it's game over, very telling

So I had to go to Boston today, listening to zuckerburg testify on the radio. Damn he is monotone. One thing struck me is the Zuck said after logging out of farcebook people's internet usages is still monitored. I guess it's standard practice in Silicon Valley but I had no idea. I guess people are made aware of this when you (if you) read the terms of service thing. The commentators said it is common practice with these internet companies but none like to admit it. I think it was two years ago I deleted my Facebook account, glad I did. Still they have over 2 billion users. I don't think the younger crowd is much concerened with the privacy thing, they weren't overly concerned about the government spying

Facebook shares went back up after his testimony. He must have done well. It was good he was natural which made him more human. I have heard representatives from the company and they sound like PR specialists, politicians or lawyers.
