    Default No Wimbledon Thread?

Wimbledons kinda flying under the radar a bit, already into the qurters and no mention of it. The World cup may have a little to do with that.

Will Miles tip Murray yet again? Will Ryanmans semi bet pay off....yet again. Will Sabine Lipslicki one day let me penetrate her poo pipe?

Kyrgios looked like a monster against Nadal, Nadal didnt look that great in any of his matches but the bombs Kyrgios was sending down were ridiculous. Dimitrov Murray on now, Murray's looked comfortable but Dimitrov has come on loads and will give him all he can handle. I think it's Djokovics year this year.

    Edit: Dimitrov currentlt raping Murray.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

    Dimitrov good.
Will win Majors. Hopefully not this one. But it will happen sooner rather than later. Huge talent for few years but it's all started clicking fast this last 6 months.

Oh and I'm out the gambling game a while. Things went a bit wrong at the French Open!

Murray will win again. This is his butterflies match here, he was due one after such a good opening few matches. His first set was horribly lazy.

I still think he might win this despite 0-2 down

Me too. He's getting more into it set by set. Still playing considerably below par though, maybe some niggle we don't know about it, but he's definitely not quite himself out there.

Ooh, not good. Murray just doesn't quite have it today. Something missing to his game. Come on Murray!

Hopefully Murray can win a couple more Grand Slams before the likes of Dimitrov, Raonic, Krygios take over from the big 4. His talent deserves more.
These things happen at this level, see Nadal yesterday.

That's a shame. I'm not sure what the deal was. Sure, the opponent was solid, but Murray just seemed to be coasting through it all. He didn't try to be the boss and was always chasing. I expected better, but really Murray hasn't quite been the same since his back surgery.

Nadal has looked off in the first set of every match strangely, but always picked it up. Strange last match too. I guess Nadal is never as comfortable on grass, but Murray has no excuses with grass. I think he's still recovering from the back. He doesn't quite have the same fire.

No he isn't quite the same since. Not permanent I hope.
The split with Lendl is a factor too IMO as Andy seems to have reverted to the defense first approach of years gone by pre-Lendl. It's also well reported that Andy did not want Lendl to go at all.

That's a good point. I don't understand why a trainer going should revert you to doing things that were not quite as successful though. Surely learning would reinforce the positive inputs. Maybe though, I mean he was definitely playing much more soft tennis and in the process was getting bossed about. I fail to see how that is a good idea. Murray has so much experience now too. I'm sure it's recovery and he is still playing well within himself. It's been a while since surgery, so it makes you wonder about Murray. I think we can all agree he isn't quite the same major winner and it has been a few tournaments now.
