Wlad. By far. How in the world does the HW community allow him to stink up the joint is beyond me. Tyson he is not. Holyfield he is certainly not. He is not even Lennox pre- second title reign.

I'm not gonna lie, Lennox before he beat Holyfield was a little exciting to watch. His matches with Mercer, Briggs, Morrison and others were/are classic HW matches.

I actually appreciate both guys and what they do in the ring. Floyd is a genius and great technician/tactician in there. Wlad stops the majority of opponents and breaks them down behind a stellar jab. Wlad also has the shaky chin which makes any fight intriguing. I appreciate the technical skills portion of the sport as much as the all out mayhem and toughness portions. I actually prefer technical fights to the rock 'em, sock 'em brawls

He stops the vast majority of guys he fights. Hard to do that by only hugging. Ruiz was a hugger. Wlad clinches inside to protect his chin, but he punishes guys behind his jab and formidable right. He throws good combinations and usually closes the show.

Both guys mentioned have two of the best jabs in boxing respectively, both guys can get boring but the title goes to Klit. I would rather watch two snails slug it out than sit through a Klit kumbuyya hug fest. The amount of time he has been heavyweight champ is the same amount of time nobody gives a shit or knows who the heavyweight champ is. Unfortunately with Wilder being the only name thrown around at least in the US as the next big thing Klit May end up breaking all of Hopkins age records and people still will not give a shit.

Mayweather is worse to watch, since he doesn't go for the KO even when a smaller opponent is fading (JMM, Guerrero, etc).

But Andre Ward with his clutching, clamping, fouling, ugly style is the very worst boxer to watch.

Thing is though, Mayweather is usually smaller than his opponents of late. Marques was rather the exception. Guerrero was actually a pound heavier than Mayweather, no?


Wladimir is usually the bigger fighter in his matches, but sometimes he doesn't go for the KO against clearly over matched opponents.

Good point, he has really developed that elbow as part of his arsenal. I sometimes wonder if the refs let it go because he is Floyd or if he just knows when to throw it.
