Default Paul Butler aiming to break records in Liverpool oct 25th

Paul Butler-Zolani Tete on October 25th in Liverpool - Boxing News

This should be interesting. I haven't heard of who he is fighting so I cant pass comment, but best of luck to him. It will be good to see a local lad achieve this.

I like Butler Jr he's a good fighter better suited at Super Fly weight, I can see him as a 2 weight
    World Champion.

Two weight "world" champion? He dumped the belt because he was forced to defend against Randy Caballero. Now Stuart Hall, the man he became "world" champion against, fights Caballero for the belt he just dumped and he fights for a vacant title.

Nahh... I'm not impressed by this stuff.

He was still growing into the weight though and could easily make the superfly limit. He took the fight vs Hall because it was a big domestic showdown. Its similar to Broner really, he can stay at the weight or go back down and perform better than he would if he stayed there. He still has maturing to do and I understand why he has moved back down IMO. It might have been a tougher fight with Caballero but why wait and find out when you can be breaking records ?

I have no problem with Butler moving down, it was clear from the Hall fight he will struggle until he grows into it.

I'm just moaning about all the "world" champion talk. They stole the title off Hall, realised it was a tougher jump than expected, so immediately dump it. It's hardly an endorsement for the "dream" of being world champion, is it?

No but as you said it was tougher than expected. Hopefully he will prove that against Tete.
