Default Haye told to "Pay money up front" if he wants to fight Fury

Can't say i blame Haye for having to pull out through 2 genuine injuries (cue Ross ) but i can see the Fury teams point here, they want Haye to deposit a 5 or 6 figure (non returnable) sum into a bank account before they would even consider negotiations to fight him.

Ironic the Haye now needs Fury more than Fury needs Haye

I saw the interview where Peter Fury said this a couple of weeks ago. It's fair enough, but nowhere have I seen that David Haye is actually looking to fight Fury anyway. Infact , as of late , David Haye has not said a fucking word about who he's looking to fight or indeed IF he is fighting. Admittedly , he has signed with Al Haymon , but at this moment in time , for all we know he could've signed to go in partnership with Haye opening more Gyms like the one he has in Dubai!
Until Haye has a fight officially lined up , there's no point discussing him.

Haye pays the money up front , then how funny would it be if fury pulls out and keeps the cash lol.

Thats because it was a rematch of a fight that Fury won almost every round. People had seen this fight and there was only ever one outcome.

Think of another top rated british heavy. Price, Joshua. These would both be massive fights.

Haye needed the right opponent to be pay per view, so did Mayweather.

Fury v Chisora still had a huge live audience in the arena. Would a Haye v Klitschko rematch have any interest? I doubt it.

Now come on, Haye is nothing less than an outstanding fighter and knocks out practically every opponent he faces.

Apparently Haye has no interest in a fight with Fury.

My guess is that Furys team saw Haye getting some headlines and decided to throw some shit out there to get there name in the mix.

Whether you like Haye/Fury or not, these are the facts.

    - Haye can make just as much/more money fighting anyone else as he would make fighting Fury.
    - Haye is established at world level and can fill an arena fighting anyone.
    - Fury Can only really get this type of huge payday against Haye or Klitschko.
    - Fury vs Haye benefits Fury A LOT more than it does Haye.

Realistically Haye has been inactive, but it is a business, Haye is better for business and he can make unrealistic demands due to this fact. Fury cannot! Why would Haye ever put money to Fury just to enter negotiations?

I like Fury a bit more recently but I think he can be deluded, let's see him fight Wilder, Arreola, Lucas Brown even, he has been selective not to fight people who can bang.

First off, the first foght when Haye was still young and active enough to matter wasnt co petative in the least. Haye showed nothing.

Second... Would any of Hayes "fans" be stupid enough to shell out a 4th time on another potential pull out? Once bitten, twice shy as they say, or in Hayes fans case, 3rd or 4th time

People want fresh fights. Fresh combinations of personalities facing each other, unless the first fight was an entertaining match. Which this wasnt.

fury is a good guy and is good for boxing hes just not the draw that haye is

like adam said, a lot of people tuned in to furys last fight more interested in an undercard fight

and yes i see your point, it was a rematch which was reasonably one sided last time, but still

Antonio Tarver wants to fight Haye according to boxingscene.....that fight seems plausible and a little interesting really, I may actually cheer for Mr. Hayemaker in that match

Can't blame Fury, how would anybody feel if they went through two different training camps and put in the work only to have their opponent pull out each time. It has to be beyond frustrating.
