i phoned up the local boxing gym and asked if they had any spaces they said only for a sunday beginners class but i play soccer on sundays so we said no we cant are there any other days they said nah not really we have a long waiting list then he said actully come down next monday and train so im in a boxing gym

Relax, Listen and Enjoy it. Remember that every one starts some where, don't be afraid or embarassed if you don't learn things first time or miss-understand things.

if you weren't as "good" as you thought you were before you joined, don't let it get you down. chances are that everything you've done til now (the way you shadowbox, punchbag, etc.) was done the wrong way, and they'll be showin you the correct way.
