If your in school, just try...
Next time you have a test and you enter your class, enter just before the bell rings.
That way everybody sees you come in.
Then bang on the chalk board, like they were drums. Loud enough so the whole class can hear.
Then shout,"THE CHAMP IS HERE!" Followed by a short drum melody, then "THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
"I'M READY FOR THE TEST RIGHT NOW!"
"I'M ALREADY AT FIGHT WEIGHT!"
(((one these days I'm gonna try this.haha)))
What do you mean? your being pretty vague... you talking about before a fight?
You get all these lads scared shitless sitting there eyeballing you, out of fear, what fucks them up is if you come over to them and wish them good luck etc...
They try to scare you out because they hopes it makes you as scared as they are, coming over not scared makes them worse :P
ye confidence is a big factor having or at least appearing to have no nerves about the fight will make u seem super human to your opponent
Watch the movie; What the bleep do we know.
IT spells out alot from science point of view but it gives one major key: if you want to change your life and become the creator of it instead of the victim of what you have been brought up to think or worse ,being lead right through your life by what you think.
You simply watch your thoughts like clouds in the sky and you are instantly seperate from them (this creats spaces that fill up with peace and your time reshapes and false things fall away with no loss to you whatsoever ,therefore the egoic mind releases you from its grip and you regain control over yourself simply by being the observer of your thoughts. Then after a while new windows of perspective open up to you and eventually the truth shines and so do you.
Thats the real life changing way.
For sports (aside from the approach of trying to upset your opponent pre fight)This can work with fighters who cant control their emotions and then bring anger or some doubts into the ring which tightens them up gets in the way of their free handspeed ,stops them from gettting into the zone.
The other way is to work on yourself phycalogically.
You go into the same state of peacfull alpha length brain wave activity by slowly 'from the head down' relax every muscle within you eventually allowing all stress to pour out your fingers and then your toes, as you do deep slow breathing to your lower gut level;this gets your brain out of usual beta state into alpha state.
Then fully visualizing whatever it is you wish to achieve ;in advance of physically doing it,right from the walk in,throught the ropes ,the bell ,the rounds right through the fight you see it all and you deal with everything as it comes right to the holding up of the belt and the crowd acknowleging you as the champ and you feel it deep and you see it in your minds eye. Then you thank the powers that be that allow this to occur for you! with feeling, deep thanks. And it is done.
You have pre thought what you have to do already so it is simple to go into battle and slip into THE ZONE on the night. You have paid with faith (the universal monetary system) by saying your thanks with feeling you have joined feeling to prethought to thought to action which all equals positive visualization. Some fighters even visit the arena and get in the ring pre fight so to get one step ahead and help with the visualization of it all and really own it.
I remember an old pro saying to me when I asked him how he motivated himself. He told me he always thought of his old aunt nelly knitting him a scarf sat by the coal fire the week before she died, that she could knit a scarf for him on her death bed and he wanted to win for her. I said to him that motivated him in the trenches and he replied when the going got tough I thought fuck it I never wanted a scarf anyway
Pain lasts a only a minute, but the memory will last forever....

i found a good and very effective way to freak people is to start fights with them before the actual bout. keep a smile on your face, but dont let it be a happy smile. sneer at them, and let them know as many times as you can theyr going to end up feeding from a straw for the next few years
come on this is boxing not a pissing contest. myself i always would try to be very humble and freindly with my opponents. i guess because i didnt want to freak them out (for what?). i would have some guys try to pull some tough guy junk but i would be damned if id ever let that get to me. this guy must think ive never been in a fight before or something. you know the strange thing is, id get an extra kind of satisfaction in teaching these kind of knuckleheads a lesson in the ring. i really got a personal kick out of it. they tend to get frustrated alot easier than cool tempered boxers and nothing accelerates that condition faster than getting counterpunched to ribbons. youd be suprised how fast a man can go from thinking hes the baddest thing to ever wear a mit to thinking to himself just how the hell is he gonna get out of this damned ring.
actions speak louder than any of these silly pre-fight stare downs and what not.
in fact, training speaks louder than anything. if you dont want to be a victim of psycological warfare make sure your are absolutely 100% fighting fit and ready. nothin will sway you then.
Back in the old days Mike Tyson would scare alot of people right before the bell rang. he'd have this evil crazy determined look that could scare the hell of just about anybody.
one thing I do is say to them "i hope them beaters workin".
