Rite how come all the gloves i see and use in gyms look different from the ones in pro contests?
the gloves seem to me more ball shaped.
or is it just me?

		There's loads of types of gloves, generally you have sparring gloves, bag gloves (aka mitts) and pro gloves. Amateur ones have white spots on so you can see contact easier with the scoring part of the glove. Sparring gloves can be anything from 8oz to 16oz and can vary in shape. Same for bag gloves. Fighting gloves are either 8oz or 10oz depending on the weight of the fighter I think, and are more uniform and precision made, thats why they cost so much. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's how it goes.
