Default De La Hoya wants Golovkin for potential comeback

    Oscar De La Hoya -- If I Come Back ... I WANT TRIPLE G!!!! | TMZ.com

I can only assume that Oscar is suicidal, and rather than taking his own life, he'd rather die making money he can leave to his family. Surely no commission would even consider sanctioning this?

I figure he just wants people to talk about it, there is no way he's serious. Golden boy promotes Canelo, Lara, and maybe a couple of other potential GGG opponents down the line, so he could just be giving the guy some spotlight if nothing else.

Lara is with Haymon, Al and Schaefer really screwed him big time.

He's just trying to create a new PPV star that boxing desperately needs. He's mainly responsible for Floyd and Manny becoming PPV superstars. If he makes a comeback it will be all eyes on the golden boy and that will create a huge exposure for Golovkin, which will then make a fight with Canelo closer to a superfight rather than just another scrap for the hardcore fans.

Possibly drugs but most likely just after a bit of publicity. GBP isn't exactly pulling up trees at the minute and he's probably just letting people know he still exists. Hopefully it isn't substances but if he was really serious about not ending up being photographed again wearing women's clothing with a sex toy up his arse he should have sold out to Schaefer and got away from boxing altogether.

It's more than likely that sooner or later he heads off down the drugs fishnets sex toy road again if he stays around boxing.

He's got guts for even thinking of going 1 on 1 with GGG and I don't think this is a hype job. I think he's deadly serious.

Not just any Pacquiao, a Pacquiao that injured his shoulder and didn't mention it for 6 and a half years.

This never happens. Dude hasn't fought in 7-8 years. He admitted he was washed up at that point... what does he feel has changed for the better since then?

Just some cheap publicity for his ego which has taken a beating.

Oscar feels his grip slipping away on the sport.

Oscar was a shell of himself and completely weight drained..that was a loss oscar created to give pac the perfect springboard into superstardom until he ran into marquez.
