Jon Stewart played this little game where he'd pretend to be a real journalist until confronted about it/called out on a lie and then he'd be all "Oh I'm just a comedian"....you can't have it both ways but the liberals love him so he was able to do it.

I ABHOR Jon Stewart, I hope he tries to be more political in the future and I hope he gets his ass handed to him because he's certainly not as smart as he believes himself to be.

Good, I don't like him either. I don't even care how much of a journo he considered himself or how he used that, to me politics and comedy don't mix the way he tried to make them in any case. Nobody is very funny being completely partisan, if you want that kind of bullshit just listen to the politicians themselves. He wasn't as bad as this John Oliver cunt who is on now though, I hope he isn't the replacement.

Neither did I. Question: Wasn't he on the comedy channel? Then why would any of us take the time to question his political views- if he's on the (joke) channel...

I agree. With that being said; ever listen to Dennis Miller's brand of political comedy? If so, what did'ya think of it?

Comedians with opinions...we're doomed . I mean really a fact check on piece about autism? Tonight a billionaire turned bad wrester promo tv diva with zero political experience is being considered viable as President. Stewart is a squirrely shat but knows his role with sharp satire. Loved him in Half Baked btw.

I like him because he doesn't hide behind "oh I'm just a comedian" he's embraced just the political and although I don't always agree I respect that he's up to taking heat for his views

When did he pretend to be a journalist?

Any time he felt that he could bully someone he's interviewing. Any pushback, ANY pushback at all..."Oh hey, I'm a comedian, here's a joke"

Is that what you took from that. Looks to be edited midway, possibly for commercial, but just a decent and jagged discussion. Its on his guest to know what they are walking into.
