Default BoxNation has Mayweather vs. Berto

Watch Mayweather's last fight LIVE in the UK on BoxNation

I thought Sky would have this as Groves is on the bill and Eddie has an agreement with Sauerland. Obviously Floyd has the final say and it goes to the highest bidder.

This Marciano record stuff doesn't make sense. Are people going to call it the Floyd record if he goes 50-0? Blimey.

    Chavez - 87-0 before a draw.
Pep - 62-0 (then went on a 70+ win streak)
    Benvenuti - 65-0
    Olivares - 57-0-1
    Lopez - 50-0-1

Why would anyone consider 49-0 more impressive than Robinson going 130-1? Doesn't make sense. Monzon went unbeaten in 80 odd fights.

And that is exactly why Floyd won't be carrying on just to beat Marciano's record. It means fuck all to him. You can never tell the future, but if he fights on, that won't be the reason.

    He will fight on.

Personally, I wont be paying for this fight for the first time since Oscar.

He has more than enough money.

He will fight on because he can name his price and sit back and let tv companies around the world fight over the rights.
Berto is the last of his contracted Showtime fights so he is then a free agent. $$$

putting a different spin on this thread, how much longer do people think BoxNation will be alive for?

The schedule over the last few months has been nothing short of dreadful, I think its a shame, at its peak it was a great channel with great value for money.

I subscribed when it was first launched and then stopped some time last year after having no great fights. I think it provides better value for money than sky for boxing especially when SKY put too many of their fights on ppv.
