Wow!
That grizzly and its cub with that fall foliage in the backdrop are about to take a 3 months snooze.
How did you take those photos?

They are camera's set off by motion close to a great corridor near a lake. A buddy and I dabble in it. Got some wolverine shots awhile back. They are his cameras. Just hide them and hope for the best. A wolverine actually slapped at it and knocked it out of commission once. Imagine going to grab the card at the same time mother and cub were there. The hair stands on end just thinking it about. It would not have been a nice way to possibly die.
Dude, beautiful Lynx. We have wild cats in my area but they are extremely elusive. My neighbor caught one on his outside surveillance camera. What is the population of lynx in your area. I'm a big fan of wild cats, love em.
Sorry, but do you have additional footage of the lynx, I'd love to see its face and better view of those paws.

Those are outstanding! Love me some bears
Glad you explained how you got the pictures. Like a proper div I was stumped at how the funk you got so close to them (). Remember that Grizzly Man nutter got himself eaten alive getting that close.

Lol. She was there at 2 pm and the sd card was removed at 6. I remember that dude and his fantasy world. Treadwell I think his name was. Camped right at the exit of a bear trail used by Alaskan Brown bears to go graze on the rich grasses. I hate to say this but he kind of deserved it. Sad about his women though. Unfortunately it might have been her that caused the attack by being in that wrong time of the month.
I think I could take that bear on, it does not look to scary. That wild cat on the other hand...

I look at wild cats as the apex predator. Perhaps some of the smaller ones like bobcats have predators but when a cat starts hitting lynx size the only thing that messes with it is armed humans or traps set by them. I watched a national geographic special and a lion actually attacked a croc and scared it away, who the hell scares a full grown croc?
Great shots man!
I have never seen a bear that big in real life, I have seen several, but never anything super big mostly just your average juvenile black bears rummaging through trash cans.....they are nothing more than raccoons for the most part (at least the ones in the Southeastern US) some are more dangerous than others though.
As for wild cats, it's amazing how big they can get and just how graceful they are in hunting and how powerful they are too.
Great picture of the Lynx, it looks like it's meditating![]()
Still digging for the other Lynx picss. I have about 10,000 and I put those on a FD and am going through my sticks at 3 different locations. Came across these two that my buddy got at one of the spots earlier in the summer May-July. The black bear is hilarious.
