Default Khan next opponent ? Surely not waiting again

I'm out of touch these days but assumed he'd be fighting in December - all I've found is a possible April fight with Pacquiao. Don't tell me he's waiting for that

    Anyone know any different ?

That would mean just one fight in 2015 - albeit the deadly Chris Algieri

Khan is looking for a big money fight simple, I think Floyd will be back and Manny may have a few
fight left in him, so Khan is hoping for ether of those 2 to face him, mega money fight that what
    Khan would like.

His sense of entitlement is disturbing. How he arrived at that sense is puzzling to say the least. This sport has really changed since the beginning of the Manny/Floyd talk 6 years ago. Now every pro that is or thinks they are a star have started a silly pose off. The welterweight division is both the deepest and the suckiest in the sport. That has had a domino effect namely ALL THE STARS DON'T FIGHT! Even the artificial ones. The depth of Khans delusion is off the charts. For some reason he believes that because he placed 1st over Maidana in a Floyd sweep-stake but was not chosen for the prom that he somehow deserves the fight. And his delusion is multi folded because he thinks he should have been 49 and is now holding out for 50 and failing that, getting a Manny fight. If he really wanted either he'd do something to get it instead of expecting to be chosen out of a lineup. Even Guerrero jumped up two divisions and beat two top operators. Khan should be all over the Brook fight is he truly wanted either fight.

You can read This guy like a book. He wants the Mayweather and Pac fights (who doesn't?), because he knows he can lose to either and still have a big money fight with Brook to fall back on.
He also knows that there are a good half a dozen guys that beat him at WW, that's why he doesn't "earn" his shot, so he fights fringe guys ( with limited power because of his chin.) in order to protect the 2 big cash cow fights.
The way that he is STILL chasing Floyd despite the fact the he is retired, is cringeworthy and embarrassing. The guy's a fucking prick.

I agree with most of this really. He can afford a loss to those two but not to Brook or Thurman at this stage.

Amir Khan has raised the prospect of an all-British fight against Kell Brook, as his hopes of a match with legendary fighter Manny Pacquiao diminish.

The 28-year-old from Bolton had hoped to be Pacquiao's final opponent.

"It just seems Pacquiao doesn't want to fight me," he told BBC Sport, naming Danny Garcia, Lamont Peterson and Sheffield's Brook, 29, as alternatives.

He later tweeted: "Pacquiao fight could still happen if he signs the contract, but I'm also looking at other options."

Former two-time light-welterweight world champion Khan beat Chris Algieri in their bout in June and felt he was close to facing Floyd Mayweather - but the multiple world champion opted to fight Andre Berto in his final bout instead.

Seven-weight world champion Pacquiao, 36, would be an alternative high-profile bout for Khan, who has won 31 of his 34 fights, but he is not confident of a deal being agreed.
We've been trying for the last few months to get it done," he added. "I don't want to be in the same position as I was with Mayweather, when he promised me the fight and I was waiting and waiting and it never happened.

"He probably just doesn't feel confident and thinks it will be a tough fight for him."
Khan is instead considering rematches with Americans Garcia, who stopped him in four rounds last year, and Peterson, who beat him on points in 2011.

But he also mooted a meeting with IBF welterweight champion Brook, who has called on his compatriot to get in the ring.

"A rematch with Danny Garcia could be an amazing fight for me - it is a fight where I want to prove myself," said Khan. "I know I am a better fighter than he is and I just made a mistake when I fought him the first time.

"When I fought Lamont Peterson I know I won the fight but didn't get the decision, but a fight with Kell Brook could happen as well - he is one of the top guys who we would be looking at."

BBC Sport - Amir Khan: Manny Pacquiao fight unlikely so Kell Brook on agenda
