On this day, at approximately 3 pm, the Moshiach of the Jews "died" on a Roman cross on a hill named Golgotha.

The Gentiles have adopted him as their messiah.

Whoever he was, he made a rather incredible impact. Perhaps more of one than any other human being in history.

The irony is we all too would have survived as the cross used was probably not much more than five foot tall, as Jesus was if average height; 4' 6" tall.

But hey four day weekend! Cheers Christ, but next time could you make your crucifixion a bit nearer summer? As a four day weekend at the end of June would be nicer still!
