Default So Liam has been offered an Alvarez fight.

Liam Smith ready for Predrag Radosevic, says he's been offered Canelo Alvarez fight - Bad Left Hook

Now its my understanding that Liams team offered Brook a fight also since they will be moving up no doubt.

He most likely makes more scratch against Alvarez but will have every card stacked against him. I doubt fast eddie takes his offer given how he's held back Brook thus far as his entrance exam into 54 but it looks like Smith has some options. Lets hope he's focused for the task at hand and not looking to far ahead.

Isn't Liam Smith with Frank Warren? I reckon this is a bit more bullshit.

I was talking Hearn. He's the guy that said Kell was going to 54 to clean it out and didn't Smith say something to the effect that he could start at home then?

I actually thought Alvarez would go for this fight after vacating his 160 title. Hes definitely the weakest title holder and cant see Canelo wanting Lara again or either Charlo.

Hearn and Smith would defo take the fight. Big big payday for them. Pretty sure Smiths sick of facing bums.

Liam would be wise to take it. Andrade is coming and brings no money. But due to rating he can't be avoided so get that money now.

I think Kell will stay at 147 longer now that he can keep the WBO and dump the IBF. I mean who is he going to beat of the top 154 fighters? He has a far better chance at ruling 147 than 154. How do you leave a division when you haven't fought a top guy in the division?

Two sides really. I just get pissed off because a guy with Kells talent is wasting away but then so is the division. A bunch of posers. I don't think the others want to face Brook. Maybe Spence does but its hard to say. I hope Porter beats Thurman because he probably would unify and desire the rematch. He might as well move up if this keeps going. Plus, he's a massive welter.

Brooks is willing to unify against Vargas to avoid a fight with Spence.

Alvarez is a vagina if he does not fight GGG next.

Agree. Canelo won't fight him and never intended to. His punk move of taunting him after knocking out a glass jawed jr. welter is equivalent to Adonis Chickenson's disgraceful duck of Kov/Hop. Canelo has been my poster boy for how far the sport has fallen, because he is a PPV mega star while being an incomplete, "B" level fighter. He is making more in one fight than Sweet Pea Whitaker made in 4-5 during his prime. What a disgrace. Canelo makes more in one fight than Finito Lopez made in his career. Think about that!

There's a lack of superstar power in Mexico right now so they have to make a superstar out of someone. Canelo is the one they chose. Mexico made canelo what he is and without all of that support, he would be just another pretty good fighter without much recognition

I would certainly watch that. Won't happen though just like the GGG fight. Alvarez just sucks more and more each day that passes. Sh*t or get off the pot.

The fans get ripped off time and again, managers TV the fighters themselves who is to blame, but as fans we remain loyal to the sport, they seem to forget with out US there would be NO payday.

When it comes down to it. Ultimately the fans are to blame. I wouldn't say as many of us as the casual, sensationalist dipsh*t crowd with the severe case of FOMO (fear of missing out). Theyre the ones that keep buying these BS cards and humoring these delusions of grandeur by Arum(bradley Pac 3), Golden Boy/Canelo, Haymon/PBC/ Stevenson/Wilder, Cotto and formerly Mayweather types. The instant gratification tendencies of the social media generation (that have more tools at their disposal to voice their dissatisfaction but do the opposite) retweet/repost hollow declarations from con men primadonnas, that no longer want to work for the money. If everyone boycotted one of these F*ckers and didnt pony up for a fight and forced the promoter, venue, networks and whatever VC's might bankroll these things to flush their money down a hole with no profit, they'd realize the power wielded by the fans. Sadly it doesn't happen because there is no organization for these type of movements and the hold outs are silly f*cking people with no interest that buy the fights for the sake of throwing a party, or nationalistic/ ancestral pride. So the unfortunate fall out is that the lazy no risk fighters get the same if not more backing than the guys like Crawford.

They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.
