    Default Should Maidana return?

This guy made a Load of money from the mayweather fights and completely ruined a part of Adrian Broner that has yet to return.

He gave Mayweather hell in the first fight and seems to be a problem for every opponent he ever fights.

Is this a case of a fighter that has left the sport at the right time and has nothing left to prove?

If he was to return would it be at 154?

    Your thoughts?

He gained quite a bit of weight. He has no reason to return at this point. He has been out for a long time and his main advantages would be gone. After so many years out of the ring you lose that blood and guts mentality. That was his biggest asset.

I'd love to see him back. He really did improve his level and boxing a bit and earned every cent against Mayweather. But based on last pics I've seen of him he may only return if it's in a drive thru window..with fries.

No, he over achieved his status and was not a good technical fighter.

Thurman would box his ears off.

Point is, he doesn't want to.
One of the few that have left on his own terms, with his senses intact and having gotten what he wanted out of the sport.

By that I assume you mean not risk engaging at all.

That's right. His is a rare and feel good story. Let him stay retired and the legend of him humbling Broner and that first fight with Floyd will continue to grow. First man to make Ortiz quit too. Ruthless barbarian he was.

Maidana had a great career and beat Floyd Mayweather. He has nothing left to prove and I am sure he has banked his money well and doesn't have 8 baby Momma's to feed. A good role model for boxing.

I don't think he should return but if he did there a numerous opportunities for him. He would have to work his way back down in weight. I think if he took a few tune ups and cut weight properly he would still be very competitive. We could finally get that all Argentine clash with Matthysse.

Thurman does engage when he needs to and Maidana is too crude to give Keith any issues.
