New fight series in the works!

Possibly some very good news for the boxing industry. Although we were told "nothing is ready to be announced," word is that the Comcast-owned Outdoor Life Network (OLN) is considering launching a high quality Thursday night boxing series starting as soon as this July. Former HBO Sports chief Seth Abraham, who launched Starship SA (his own sports marketing firm) about a year ago, is reportedly in the midst of negotiations for new fight series that would pay $250,000 per show (about ten-times ESPN2's per show budget). Top Rank is likely to promote some or all of the telecasts. Plans call for one live telecast per month.

IMO this is fwocken great!!!
If this pulls thru this would be great, especially if Top Rank get's to do the promoting, I wouldn't say all but most would be fine......That way we get a chacne at seeing other fighters from around the way....Any thoughts?
