    Default A Little Montana Humor

This morning before work I encountered several deer crossing the street in a residential neighborhood one block off the main street in town. They went between two houses and, when I looked, there were probably 10 deer there.
Later, I was telling one of my coworkers about it and she pulled out her phone. She said this is the cutest part of having deer in your neighborhood, and showed me a picture of a huge paw print she had taken in her back yard.
Apparently the mountain lions follow the deer into the neighborhoods.

That is a nice story. I see deer here, but they tend to be mangled in the road and I feel bad when I see that. I would love to see them out and about walking through town.

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

Sounds like goats take over empty Welsh streets during coronavirus lockdown.

Not here so much. In general we are pretty heavily armed.
Just a couple weeks ago, before the hysteria began, I saw a guy with a dead lion in the back of his truck.

Mobile food chain. Have to think all this new reintroduction into populated areas will see some wildlife pay a price when things 'get back to normal' by no fault of their own. We'll always have stragglers but not at these numbers.
