I was impressed with Ortiz. Took control and closed the shop down with Lubin hung up on the ropes. Vergil has some learned subtlety to him and is arcing his shots over in nasty fashion. Very very solid punch selection. Would absolutely love Boots and Ortiz but something tells me promotions may fall for the "well there's no belt" and it may become a hindrance, or excuse. Way too much chatter about Ortiz not having a strap etc and I say man, all I see are his last three fights at 154 to be impressed. Great potential matchup no doubt about it.

Silly rumour is that Ortiz will face Spence and Boots faces Charlo to set up the big fight. Crazy as there should be no reason to waste time.
