We need to see fights between them. I can't understand how England has four good middleweights that haven't fought each other. Macklin is probably the best?

Would be good to see.
I'd say Murray may be lacking in experience slightly compared to the rest but other than that it's pretty evens. I know he done well against Sturm and I'm sure he could hold his own against the others.
They are all tough and I think any of them could beat the other on any night. It would be entertaining. The thing is we get these 4 guys who dont fight each other as they feel a loss against each other would put a spanner in the works getting bigger fights abroad. At least they have all featured in big fights so far, Macklin seems the more likely to get the next chance.
It reminds me of the 90s/2000's when we had Wayne Alexander, Takaloo, Steve Roberts, Richard Williams, Anthony Farnell (i'm sure I'm missing some) all fighting around light middle and they could have made a tournament and made a few quid against each other instead they either didn't fight or they fought when their best was behind them. Not exactly in the same league as barker etc but would have still been good.
I think these fighters have genuine ambitions to be world champions and if they can pull that off they would fight one another.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I think a fully fit Barker is the best fighter

Didn't mean to be offensive. I apologize if I was. I meant from the British Isles etc.
Is it because there is a big risk that the defeated boxer would lose a lot of appeal? That doesn't make sense though because DeGale and Groves fought and DeGale maintains a strong fan base.
By the way, why has Groves only fought once in 2012?
[QUOTE=Rantcatrat;1099486]Not at all pal; though there are those would take offence at any affiliation with the UK
I think that from an Irish perspective we'll always hang our hopes on one guy. if one beats the other the less fortunate fighter will become far less appealing.
But funnily enough, I think they soon need to fight each other for one to gain relevance and regain the faith of the public.

I think Degale lost a lot of fans with his behaviour in the build up to the Groves fight then he lost. He hasn't been too active lately either.
Groves has only fought once this year against Francisco Sierra, he looked very good but suffered a bad cut. Hopefully he can get out before the end of the year. He has been stripped of his british title as he has not defended against Kenny Anderson in the required time.
**Degale has now signed with Hennessy, not sure how he will benefit from that but couldn't see warren doing him any favours in the near future.
