Wlad is a top 5 HW of all time!! FACT!!

I know we all like to get on Wlad for being boring and being a bit chinny, but we have to give the guy his due!!

1) Wlad never ducked anyone! He fought the best competition he possibly could have, and was always seeking out top quality guys to fight. Of Wlad's last 6 opponents (including Jennings), 5 of them were young and undefeated prospects. Who else in boxing history has fought so many undefeated guys?

2) Wlad has fought and beat every kind of fighter you could possibly fight. Every style - boxers, brawlers, punchers, slicksters, runners, counter punchers, swarmers, inside fighters, ect ect. He's fought every build of HW, from smallish quick HW to legit HW giants. He's fought opponents from 207 to 287 and everywhere in between. He's fought a ton of southpaws with great success (aside from Corrie Sanders ahaha RIP). Short southpaws, long southpaws.

3) Wlad finishes fights. We rag on him for being boring, but his KO ratio is fantastic. 53 KO's in 63 wins. That's pretty spectacular!

4) Wlad's record is fantastic at 63-3. Three losses in 18 years of pro boxing... not bad!

Guys who have had similar records:

Joe Louis: 66 (52 KOs) - 3

Marvin Hagler: 62 (52) - 3 (if Wlad had retired before the Pulev fight, him and Hagler would have had the exact same record and KO percentage! Far out!)

I'm throwing all in now.. Whenever they should meet, Wladimir finished Deontay within the first half of the fight, easily too

There has been nothing in the performance of Wilder to suggest he can survive Wlad let alone beat him.

He proved himself a worthy top contender but also proved he would be uncompetive against the Haye's and Kitschko's of the division.

The only thing that makes me confident Wilder has a chance against Wlad, is that Max Power doesn't think he does. I'll have to think it over seriously for a while and come to a reasonable conclusion.

I'm not a big Wlad fan but yes, ATG is appropriate mention for him. The guy wins, sometimes yes he is boring but he knows how to win. I also think he has one of the greatest jabs in HW history. I rank him and Floyd have the best jabs in boxing right now out of every single active fighter. I have come to appreciate Wlad just as I have Floyd big difference being is Wlad isn't a prick outside the ring.

I really like Deontay and its great to see an American HW again. I would love to see him fight Wlad. I think Wilder has the power to beat Wlad but Wlad will win on ring iq although Wlad will have a difficult time leaning on and pushing down on Wilder to weaken his chicken legs. Anyway, I fight I want to see.

I don't even begin to know how people do all time rankings. I can think of many greats that wouldn't stand a chance against Wladimir. But then those same guys beat men that might beat Wlad so is one better or is it match ups?

Do people take the time to list the top 50 then go through and imagine each head to head?

1) would have gone 42-8
2) would have gone 40-10
3)39-10-1

And so on? Because going through 50 guys against 49 others would take a hell of a long time
