    Default softest world title win

i have to say alverez being crowned world champ on saturday was pretty soft

I for one think both men deserved a shot at a title but perhaps more deserving at a different weight

then there was the weight issues before the fight, missing the agreed limit twice, the fight still going ahead with the world title still on the line (alright they were within the championship limit)

alverez clearly missing the weight, looked to me had had made little attempted to make it, so hatton was made (tricked) to come in a couple of pounds lighter, who knows what affect that had on him and what advantages it gave alverez, he was clearly looking much bigger on the night

I'd still have fought if i was hatton, give him a pat on the back, but going in to the ring he was definately given the short end of the stick and im not sure the winner deserves the belt

Most fighters that don't make weight, usually fight but don't get the title if they win. Why was this different?

Because Alvarez weighed 151.6. which is 3.4 lbs below the weight class limit of 154lbs.

Without trying to slate the Brits (they'll be dozens worse than these) - Enzo Macc and Alex Arthur were both given the WBO title.

Enzo solidified his champ status by beating Mark Hobson (a man he'd already beat) and Arthur became champ with a win over Koba Gogoladze/Stephen Foster Jr.

    That's pretty soft.

thats true arthur was a soft champ, did he ever get full status? i know he was interim

Enzo Maccs reign was perhaps was a bit soft at the start but he can consider himself champ, he looked good for a while and deserved to be there

Arhtur lost the full WBO title to Nicky Cook. So he became full champ between Fost/Gog and the Cook fight.
