They are both good but Paxtons book is more in depth.

Fearless Harry Greb is a superb read.

What I know about Greb is that he was a very good fighter who was dirty and had a tendency to thumb people in the eye. He was the only man to batter Tunney and recently read that he missed out on a fight with Dempsey.

Grebs dirty tactics have been exaggerated over the years my friend. Unfortunately thumbing was a big part of the sport in those days because of glove design but Kid Norfolk was the king of intentional thumbing in fact he's the one that blinded Greb. Same with Langford. He was virtually blind in both eyes by the end of his career but managed to keep fighting because he memorized the eye chart.

It costs a fair bit, relative for a boxing book. The writing is pretty ordinary too. But there is not exactly a lot in the market about Harry.
