Default If joe calzaghi were to fight roy jones?

if joe calzaghi were to fight roy jones junior which i highly doubt, there would be no contest again for joe with arguably the fastest hands in boxing i think the past it jones would get taught a boxing lesson and belive me those lightning punches arnt slaps just ask jeff lacy!! When is calzaghi gonna get some credibility i mean everybody was righting him off before the fight and even after he whooped lacy, people werent complimenting his skills but instead saying how much heart lacy had which made me laugh because i dont think lacy new where he was and his corner should have probably threw the towel in at round 9 but to much american pride was at stake. all i can say is joe calzaghi go to the states and prove you are unbeaten for a reason.

You need to back up & reread everyone's statements...plenty of people were applauding Joe's skills.

That being said...welcome to the forum. Have the Obligatory Wacko Welcome Wagon

Calzaghe is highly respected on this forum & also in the United States for his decimation of Lacy.

...and YES...Calzaghe vs Jones Jr would be a beatdown in Calzaghe's favor.

Right now it would be UGLY...Roy hasn't so much lost his swagger as he has become gun shy much like Hector Camacho did. This means the power RJ had isn't utilized like it once was, added into the fact that Roy is older and a step slower it's gonna be bad.

In Roy's prime no one from his era touches him from 154-cruiserweight!
