Do YOU still want to see Hatton v Floyd??

I ask because it sounds as if interest went down MASSIVELY!!! Most think Hatton will get crushed,what do you think? I personally want to see a Collazo rematch first BUT CAN Hatton do better?

I love Ricky and I think he is the best 140 lbs fighter out there at the moment - but as I've said before PBF imo is gonna be one of those guys like a Leonard or a Monzon that only comes along every 15 -20 years - pains me to say it, bt I think it would be a bridge too far for Ricky

No, it would end up being a clinchfest with John Ruiz Jr I mean Ricky Hatton doing 90% of the holding.

Its not the first fight I'd like to see either guy do, but if Hatton were to get an impressive win over say Margarito or Gatti(if he wins) then yeah it would be a good fight. I think the ball is in Hatton's court to make a more impressive win. He could even move back down and fight Cotto, but he'd have to win and look good doing it. PBF needs to make the DLH fight or beat Margarito to solidify himself as the top welter then he can look to fight hatton.

Remember,Lil Floyd, says if it makes dollars,it makes sense,would this fight sell in the states though? Hatton should not fight Margarito,he would get knocked out like I said,the worry for me is that Collazo with only 12 kos had him out on his feet,I thought Hatton was about to go!

If I was American and that was the first time I saw Hatton,I too would be wondering what the hype was about,I think he needs to finish Collazo in a rematch to quell the criticisms.

No, I would much rather see Hatton against the winner of Baldomir-Gatti in late July. Hatton has expressed interest in meeting the winner of Corrales-Castillo 3, and that sounds good too. Castillo is really not a lightweight anymore anyway, and could fight as a welterweight quite easily. Corrales is tall enough to move up to welterweight although his chin may be too weak at the higher weight. If Hatton moves down to 140 lbs. again, either Corrales or Castillo would be an excellent opponent at that weight.

I'm afraid that Hatton simply doesn't have the boxing skills to deal with Mayweather. Hatton-Mayweather would look a little like Hatton-Collazo except that Mayweather would do a better job everywhere in the ring. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Mayweather expresses no interest in such a fight.

I think your right Hatton's best bet is to fight Cotto or the corrales castillo winer at 140 and hope PBF will come back down as well.

If Floyd goes up to 154 to fight Oscar,I don't ever envisage him coming back to 140,that would just mess his body up!
