I don't think there is singly 'one great champion' but there should be a group. And i would put any champion in that group that has done the following..

Defended it a few times agasint true world level fighters, an a fighter who anyone looking back at his record can't find one stand out name that fighter should of fought, 'coz he priced him self out or w/e other reason...

At one time, I really felt that Holyfield was. I liked his personality a lot. I also admired the way that he would get right back in the ring with people after they beat him.

Ricardo "Finito" Lopez

Lopez was a superb fighter, but merely a title holder, never a World Champ.

To my mind the Greatest reign by a World Champion was Joe Louis' 37-49 reign; the Greatest overall World Champ IMO was Ray Robinson...

But if you want to talk alphabet crap, then Graciano Rocchigiani has to be the best, just for bankrupting the WBC (Wily Bribable Council)
