Beckhams always been overated in my opinion, the only thing that made him stand out was free kick ability, and it seems that now thats gone he doesnt have much else left.

Lets see if Mclaren has any real balls, it should be a new era now out with some of the old in with the new, i cant see Beckham at 33 playing at euro 2008, so i wouldnt have him in the squad we need to be trying the youngsters now he has been in the team 10 years great servant but his time is up, we have Shauny Wright and Arron Lennon, who both are more effective.

Mclaren needs to work to our strenghts instead of playing the cautious game, lets see a new era of football where we go for it.

Man i just watched the video on the BBC site of his speech and even i was getting a bit emotional there. he was fighting back the tears and struggling over words.
