    Default Toney vs. Peter

I'll be going to this one. I hooked up with a great connection and got seats 5 rows back from the ring at the Staples Center.
It's not a done deal yet, but I think I'd like to see this fight.
If Toney get's caught flush, it's going to be night-night for fat arse!
Lost all respect for him after the shape he came into the Rahman fight.
But if he gets into shape for this one, I'll have to give him his props for doing the right thing.
Would be the icing on the cake to see this one live with such great seats.
I'm totally psyched for this one.

Good to hear your going to the fight. Since Toney Is my favourite fighter in the sport i would have loved to see him fight. But i live hear in England

If Toney get's caught flush, it's going to be night-night for fat a***!

I dont know why you say that about a great fighter like James Toney. I know, he came to the fight out of shape against toney. I bet alot of ppl thought toney was gonna get KTFO but he is too smart a fighter.

i dont see toney getting ko'd, he has a magical defense and a wicked chin to back him up. He WILL MAKE PETERS LOOK STUPID.

I think this paragraph somes up a In shape, and focused Toney!

At this time, most boxing magazines and writers had regarded Toney as the best pound per pound fighter in the world. He had become one of the most feared and intimidating fighters as well. James Toney had become somewhat of a throwback to the old time great fighters, as he fought often and was willing to take on the best regardless of weight class. At his best, Toney’s style was almost flawless. He was a smooth boxer/puncher who could adapt to any style. He could easily fight from the distance or on an inside battle. He was one of the best defensive specialists in the sport, in that he could slip and avoid punches in a way that resembled a young Roberto Duran. Toney seemed to have it all, power, speed, a solid chin, an outstanding defense and an aura that commanded respect. But his battle with weight had once again begun to take its toll. He would balloon to over 200 lbs between fights, which made it apparent that his days at the Super Middleweight limit were coming to an end. In fact Toney’s sights were now set on the Heavyweight division. However, after the Williams fight it was announced that Toney would next defend his title with a big money fight against Roy Jones.

Priceless. The only way Toney is getting caught flush is if all the drugs in his system have rendered him immobile in the centre of the ring. Even then Peter will probably miss. Peter's haymakers are delivered by carrier pigeon. Toney's been in the game too long to be worried by Peter. My prediction for the fight is yet more disillusionment with the farcical state of the Heavyweight division.

Still, they sound like great seats, and good or bad a night at the boxing is always splendid fun.

Toney could outbox Peter easy. Peter is not very athletic and just throws a lot of haymakers.
My main concern is that Toney has entered the ring in a pitiful state - the man is so out of shape.
I don't know why a fire hasn't been lit under his butt to keep him away from KFC, McDonald's or wherever
    the fuk he trains at.

Peter will be made to look like a fool by JT as he is such a superior boxer its unreal. James Toney by landslide decision.
