    Default Bazooka was screwed

Ike Quartey beat Vernon Forrest. And even at worst, it was a draw.

Yeah he was. Forest is a bitch. Which is why there won't be no rematch

That was a horrible decision, possibly the worst of the year. There is absolutely no way Forrest deserved even a draw let alone a damn win! Those Judges should be thrown outta boxing. I dunno how they could judge the Ouma fight fairly yet screw up so badly in the main event!?

Yeah I agree with all of you, Forrest has to grant a rematch if he wants any respect. No way that fight was a win for Forrest, not even close. I would have even been pissed with a draw. Quartey won easy!!!

These days it is almost impossible for a foreigner to get a decision in the US even if you win by 4 or 5 points it will be judged a draw at very best – if the foreigner wins by a couple of rounds the American will get the victory. The US audience has been used to those gift decisions so when a foreigner very rare gets a thin deserved decision over an American (Hatton-Collazo), then the American boxing fans get crazy and talks about robbery as they are used to their fighter is getting the victory even he loses the fight with a couple of rounds.

Cory- Very stupid comment. You should know your boxing BEFORE you speak!... Ike Quratey was the house boxer. He fights for Dibella (remember the same guy who has Jermain Taylor). Well, the whole reason this event was put on HBO was to make Dibella happy. Do you really think the judges working for Dibella on his HBO date would go against him because his fighter is from Ghana?? Trust me, Quartey was MUCH more the home town fighter in this bout than Forrest. Know your facts before you start bashing boxing in the USA.
(I agree the decision was bad, but has nothing to do with what you said. Wait, I am sure Dibella will have a lot to say about it also)

The robbery had nothing to do with nationality...it was just bullshit politics.

I still say that the chain of events leads to Mosley Forrest III.

Wacko- Good point! I knew there was something behind it, just not the nationality.
Good to see you back, I thought some aliens abducted you last night to study your brain. I was mostly concerned that they would think you were an average example of all earthlings... scary thought!

Yelp its called corruption. It’s what fucks up this sport.. As a fighter you have to have the mindset to knockout your opponent from the start. because quite frankly the judges go to the highest bidder. and if they ( The judges) pool their money and bet heavy on Forrest, You can be damn sure they aint going to give it to Quartey. See what I mean. esp. in New York and Atlantic City, seems like they are the worst about corrupt decisions .. Boxing needs oversight .
