what was that exactly . Cant remember
Good question. Is was a tournament with a 1million prize. I remember Briggs, Oneal Bell, can't remember the others. George Foreman and Lennox Lewis I think were gonna be the announcers? Anybody remember this?

I think it got cancelled (not 100% sure). It was suppose to have Peter, Oneil Bell, Briggs, Toney(?), and a couple of other guys. I believe 8 fighters, 4 round each fight, winner moving on.

DAMN! I was excited about this aswell!![]()
I think the one you're talking about was the Superfighter tourney, which would see 4 rounders, and 8 fighters, so the winner probably would fight 12 rounds.
Here's the thread from before:

I agree cockney, while it wouldn't be a true reflection of the sport, it could have been interesting to see some of the HW contenders stepping in together, and see how their styles matched up, though it wouldn't have been good for those who rely on stamina for their victories.
it fell out......it was like 5 mil and they were going to fight 4 rounders.....didn't work out....would have been awesome!!!Originally Posted by luvfightgame
It feels good to be back home.
It would have been nice. I thought that they would just go at it against each other, there wouldnt be time to feel out or anything.Originally Posted by bigragu

It was George Forman's idea wasn't it
Well in a way its happening but in 12 rounders. Byrd is fighting Bell. Peter is fighting Toney.
And anyone else who was half decent who was meant to fight in the tourny are fighting bums.... (i have no way to back this up, it just seems that most of the HW division fighters tend to pick on the easy victories till they have to take on the big guns.)Originally Posted by Majesty
