Default Toney Fans Need to Get Real. Karma's a B!tch

How short people's memories can be, because it was only 5 months ago that Toney got a gift from the judges by not putting the L on his record then against what might be the second worst heavyweight champion in history. Just like Oscar's Chrismas present he got from the judges against Whitaker, things evened out with Trinidad. What goes around comes around.

What is the point of your post.... Toney was given the absolute worst conceivable outcome, what do his fans need to get real about... The guy is 38, a natural middleweight, and he won that fight and put on a great performance imo, against such a younger and stronger opponent.. You need to get real, as if a robbery is ever "karma"... Hell as if the draw with Rahman was even any kind of gift... Toney easily won 6 rounds of that fight Rahman simply came on a little later and Toney clearly stunk nonetheless.. But he redeemed himself against Peter, and I hope he still get's a big fight as he clearly is the most skilled fighter in the heavy's.

Your Crazy!!!!!! The fight was close...Depending on the judge I can understand Peters getting the nod he was the agressor all night...Toney did box him well though....It was a fight that could have gone either way...........I won't complain about the decision because there have been much worse but the margin was rediculous!!!!!! at best I give it to Peters by a point...NOT 5!!!!!!!!!!!!...........Truth is either could have won the fight but not at the margin it was

Agreed. I think that a lot of people are also letting their hearts rule their heads here.

I thought Toney won the fight on boxing ability...but the fight was so close & Peter was the more aggressive of the two that it's not hard to see why a close one could go either way.

The score margins were a bit wack...but the overall decision was not one of the classic robberies that everyone screams of.

Again...it was close & initially...I leaned towards Toney...but Peter did a lot better than I expected.

    Exactly!

Peter-Toney. The judges were right for once.

What was a disgrace was Toney's criminal behavior after the fight. Where were the police? He should have been arrested or at least detained for attemting to assault Peter's manager. And he should be fined too, and banned temporarily too. The media is beyond disgrace, fawning over the degenerate foul-mouthed criminal.

Peter won the fight. He was the aggressor throughout and had Toney hurt a number of times, whereas Toney managed to cut, but not hurt Peter. You morons (Toney's demented fans) pick one of the few righteous decisions ever made to whine about crooked decisions! How about starting with Toney's fake decision over Rahman instead, to pick one out of ten million?

    EXACTLY!

Toney's Demented fans- is a good phrase to use, to try and understand how so many people on this forume could have seen such a different fight.

On the KARMA point. How about Toney's gift decision over Tiberie on ABC many years back.

It's like they've just discovered crooked decisions, and this one wasn't even crooked! Duh, almost every freakin' high profile fight nowadays in gangster owned and operated boxing has BLATANTLY crooked goings on - fighters taking dives, getting drugged, house judges - all the Melvinas and so forth (what are their qualifications for the job, or do they just buy it, or are they just related to Don King?), and house referees, like Randy Neumann and Wayne Kelly.

If Toney actually hurt the guy maybe I would agree with you, but nothing actually happened. I'm sure that Peter's manager said something foul.
