No way i see Hatton knocking Baldomir out, i think it would be close, hard to see if Rick could have it all his own way.

Baldomir by one sided KO much like he beat up Gatti, he's stronger than Collazo, and he's a way more physical fighter, he'll back Ricky up all night and beat on him

Baldomir is too strong for Ricky. We all saw what happen when Ricky went up against a big strong welterweight his last fight. He barely squeeked by with a decision.

I think your right but it was more the fact he had 6 1/2 weeks to transfrom weights for the first time and was fighting a southpaw, it would be a very close fight, and if anyone wants to compare the Gatti otcome is foolish, Gatti is a second rate fighter who has been soundly outclassed many times when fighting the elite. Id say SD Hatton.

I don't understand the comparisons between Baldomir and Collazo. Collazo's a slick southpaw, Baldomir's a pure strong, pressure fighter. Just cause they're both bigger than Hatton doesn't mean there anything alike.

Its tough to call but this is a much better style matchup for Hatton, itd be a close quarters fight and I'd probably lean towards Hatton by a close decision cause he's got shorter, more compact punches.

I am a huge Hatton fan, however, I think it remains to be seen if Hatton can compete at the top tier at 147 at this time. At 140 he is one of the very best. Why wouldn't he stay at 140 and have the fighters come to him?? What is so wrong with being the very best 140 lb fighter in the world? C/

    Lets be real folks:

Hatton & Floyd can both deal with Baldy and we all know it.

Knock Baldy out? prob not - but it would bea Hatton out of the 2 i would bet on if i had to.

However Floyd would have the wider points win.

the only comparison that can be made between colazo and baldomir is that they re both welters. colazo is a much slicker and quicker fighter than baldomir. and he's a southpaw and throws more punches. hatton would beat baldomir. i wont say easily because hatton never has an easy nights work because of his style. but hatton by wide UD or late stopage.
